The process of the work started in February 2023. As I initially wanted to try out a fun casting. Fine Leonore, had only been wax years old... and got turned into a mold a few months after. The work then existed in a dormant state in its plaster form for a year long.
Awakened from hibernation, Fine Leonore
is marked by its tentacle-like ends, green and the phosphorescence.
‘Energy absorbing, for it to be stored temporarily
to then be released slowly as-to-visible’.
Something as exciting as light reflecting through a cut gemstone that you might find at the shore.
